How it works
The assessment is questionnaire-based. You work through a structured set of questions covering the key domains of your cyber security environment, from access control and patch management through to network security and user awareness. The questions are written in plain language and include context to help non-technical respondents answer accurately.

For many organisations, a Cyber Risk Assessment is the right place to begin before committing to formal certification. It surfaces the areas most likely to cause issues during a Cyber Essentials assessment, giving you the opportunity to address them in advance rather than discovering them mid-audit.
